Job Description:
RVCC is currently accepting applications for a full time, tenure-track faculty position in Physics. Initial salary and rank will be based on the successful candidate's educational qualifications and professional experience. The College also offers an attractive employee benefits package.

*Teaching Physics and Engineering courses as assigned.  
*Meeting students' needs for individual consultation and assistance.  
*Engaging in creative and professional activities.  
*Participating in professional development activities.  
*Participating in course and program evaluation/assessment activities.  
*Participating in instructional improvement and program development activities.  
*Maintaining professional and collegial relationships within the college community.  
*Working collaboratively within a diverse learning community.

Requirements:
*Required Minimum Qualifications:  
 
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Physics or related field.  
 
*Preferred Additional Qualifications:  
 
PhD. Degree in Physics or related field from an accredited college or university.  
Two years previous Physics and/or Engineering full time teaching experience.  
Experience with instructional technology including but not limited to teaching online courses.
