Job Description:
RVCC is currently accepting applications for a full time, tenure-track faculty position in History. Initial salary and rank will be based on the successful candidate's educational qualifications and professional experience. The College also offers an attractive employee benefits package.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
*Teaching Early US History in global perspective and/or World History courses as assigned.
*Meeting students' needs for individual consultation and assistance.
*Engaging in creative and professional activities.
*Participating in professional development activities.
*Participating in course and program evaluation/assessment activities.
*Participating in instructional improvement and program development activities.
*Maintaining professional and collegial relationships within the college community.
*Working collaboratively within a diverse learning community.
Requirements:
*Required Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in History.
*Preferred Additional Qualifications:
Ph.D. degree in History from an accredited college or university and two years previous full-time teaching experience.
