Job Description:
RVCC is currently accepting applications for two full time, tenure-track faculty position in Mathematics. Initial salary and rank will be based on the successful candidate's educational qualifications and professional experience. The College also offers an attractive employee benefits package.  
 
You will be responsible to Instruct courses in a wide range of credit and developmental math as assigned. Teach courses at a variety of times and locations in response to institutional needs. Develop and/or use a syllabus for each course within College and departmental guidelines. Make continued efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing innovative methodologies, techniques and delivery methods.  
 
Evaluate students to measure their progress. Review, evaluate and recommend student learning materials. Work to maintain professional relationships with students and members of the college community.  
 
Demonstrate professional development related to Mathematics or education disciplines.  
Participate in college and departmental committees.  
 
Adhere to college policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Master's degree in Mathematics or Math Education is required. Will consider Masters in certain mathematics-related disciplines.  
 
Two years of teaching experience is required. College-level preferred. Ability to instruct courses from Arithmetic through Calculus and Differential Equations.  
 
Experience in developmental education is desirable.
