Job Description:
The Career Technical Education (CTE) Partnership grant is a four-year continuation program designed to forge solid, productive relationships among public education, business, industry, labor development, workforce development and higher education in New Jersey.
RVCC is seeking an Outreach and Communication Specialist to assist in all aspects of grant activities in support of the Director of CTE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to providing continuous communication with partners in business, industry, secondary education and postsecondary education. Assisting with Professional Development opportunities for secondary and postsecondary educators and administrators.
Promoting grant activities via web and print applications. Updating and maintaining web-based resources. Organizing and coordinating CTE student opportunities at the postsecondary level.
Developing necessary marketing materials (print and web-based) for grant activities. Coordinating emerging grant projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communication and/or related field is required. Project Coordination and website management experience is required.
Experience preferred in higher education.
Excellent organizational skills, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
MS Word, Excel, Power point and Front page is required. Experience using web base tools is preferred.
Experience preferred in conference planning, and marketing.
Additional Information:
This is a grant funded position. Continuation of employment is contingent upon funds.
